DHAKA, Sept 11: A three-member team of the United Nations Peacekeeping Department arrived here on Thursday to asses the feasibility of Bangladesh military contingent for taking part in the peacekeeping mission in Liberia.

Responding to a UN request, Bangladesh is preparing a brigade group to take part in the peacekeeping mission in Liberia.

The UN team would inspect different equipment and witness training activities and preparations of different army units.
