KARACHI, Sept 9: Sindh Education Minister Irfanullah Marwat on Tuesday called on Sindh Chief Minister Sardar Ali Mohammed Mahar at the Chief Minister’s House and submitted a detailed report regarding performance of his department and its requirements.

The minister apprised the CM of details regarding filling of vacancies in the department after lifting of ban on jobs.

The CM directed that appointments in the department be made in a transparent manner and on merit.

He further directed that requirements of educational institutions, particularly of schools and colleges, pertaining to furniture and laboratory equipment should be met and water coolers be provided in the institutions. He said libraries be also established in high schools and colleges.
