DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Sept 8: Khan Zaman advocate was elected as tehsil Naib Nazim, Dera Ismail Khan, while Habibur Rehman as tehsil Nazim, Kulachi, in the by-elections held for the two slots here on Monday.
Khan Zaman advocate polled 352 votes out of 579 while, his opponents, Zahid Mohibullah of Al-Khidmat Group, bagged 98 votes and Arshad Salim received 45.
Habibur Rehman received all the 69 votes polled during the by-election and was declared elected as the Nazim of the Kulachi tehsil.
