Defence Day today

ISLAMABAD, Sept 5: The nation will mark the Defence Day on Saturday and pay homage to the Shuhada who rendered supreme sacrifices in defending the motherland against the enemy aggression during the last wars.

In pursuance of the directives of Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali the Defence Day will be observed with simplicity.

Fauji Melas, arm displays and rallies by retired servicemen will not be held to express sympathies with flood victims.—APP
