HYDERABAD: Two held for killing driver

HYDERABAD, Sept 5: Two men, allegedly involved in the murder of truck driver Mohammad Hassan, who was killed on the Hyderabad by-pass on Sept 3, were arrested by the Hatri police on Friday.

The police said Sabo Khoso and Mian Bukhsh Khoso were arrested after an encounter in the Gundi forest. A Kalashinkov, a gun, 30 rounds and cartridges were also recovered from their possession.

Their accomplices, Ghulam Nabi alias Budho Khoso, nominated in the murder case of truck driver, and Ali Nawaz Khoso, escaped, claimed the police. They said bandits belonged to the Major Khoso gang.

CASE LODGED: The A-section police have lodged a murder case following the death of a young woman, Sumaira, on the complaint of her brother, Mohammad Ali Abbasi.
