SADIQABAD, Sept 2: Federal Minister of State Rais Muneer Ahmed Khan opened work on the Ghazi sport complex here on Monday night.

Addressing a public meeting on the occasion, he said the Rs55 million project would take 12 months to complete.

It would house a hockey ground with synthetic turf, a football ground, swimming pools for men, children and women, a gymnasium having volleyball, basketball, badminton as well as table tennis facilities.

“The complex will hold national and international games,” the minister hoped.

After the public meeting, the minister visited the local railway station to mark the stop of the Jaafar Express running between Quetta and Rawalpindi.
