Wapda rout Police

LAHORE, Aug 28: Wapda defeated Police 13-3 in the national Inter-departmental baseball championship at the Iqbal Park Sports Complex on Thursday.

Wapda could not score in the first innings however, they managed to make six runs in the second and two in the third innings.

 They went on to add three more runs in the sixth innings followed by two in  the seventh to complete the tally.

For Wapda, Saqib Butt scored three runs with a home run. Asif scored  three runs while Basit Murtaza and Asghar added two  runs each. Mohammad Nisar, Abu Bakar and Abid chipped in a run each.

For  Police, Latif Moughal scored two runs with  a  home run. Akhtar Khan contributed a run.

Defending champions, Army will play the last match of  the  against  Police  on Friday.
