HYDERABAD, Aug 28: The president, Government Secon-dary Teachers Association, Hyd-erabad district, Safar Memon, and general secretary, Zamir Khan, have condemned the proposal to dispose of the Gover-nment Muslim High School building and construct a shopping centre in its place.

In a joint statement issued here on Thursday, they said the education department was trying to deprive poor students of their right to education by selling out educational institutions in the city.

They termed it a conspiracy of the education officers of Hyderabad and builders mafia, and warned that the GSTA would foil the conspiracy, adding that the teaching community and the residents of Hyderabad would resist any move to dispose of the school building.

ADMISSIONS: The in charge principal, Government College of Commercial Education, Qas-imabad, Hyderabad, has annou-nced admissions in commerce part-I and II.

Matric pass students have been advised to contact the newly established college office in the campus of the Government College of Technology (Polyte-chnic College), Wahdat colony, Hyderabad, during the morning time before Sept 11.

SINDH UNIVERSITY: The director admissions, University of Sindh, has announced the provisional merit list of candidates selected for admission in BHPED and MHPED that has been displayed on the notice board of the directorate of admissions, administration building, University of Sindh, Jamshoro.
