KARACHI: Oil tankers strike ends

KARACHI, Aug 26: A strike being observed by a group of the oil tankers owners has been called off after a settlement between the tanker owners and Pakistan State Oil officials, a PSO spokesman said on Tuesday night.

Details of the settlement will be available on Wednesday, he said.

The All Pakistan Oil Tanker Owners Association had been observing a strike for the last few days, partly affecting oil supply to the outlets.

The decision to call off strike was taken by the group’s representatives after their talks with Operations officials of PSO, the spokesman said. — APP
