LAHORE, Aug 25: Punjab Education Minister Imran Masood has ordered an inquiry into leaking out of the LLB Part-I paper-IV, Law of Torts and Easement.

During a meeting with PU vice-chancellor Arshad Mahmood at the Quaid-i-Azam Library here on Monday, the minister asked him to furnish a report on the leaking out of the paper within a week.

The VC told the minister the paper was cancelled, and the university had rescheduled it on Sept 3 at already notified places of examination and time. He said a probe was being conducted to fix the responsibility in this regard.

The minister also asked the VC to continue to work for the development of higher education. He said the introduction of new disciplines at the PU was a good omen, and students must be provided the latest and modern education.

The VC thanked the minister for the grant of a two-year extension. PU registrar Col Masudul Haq was also present on the occasion.
