Unseeded Sadan wins battle of brothers


ISLAMABAD, Aug 19: Unseeded Sadan-ul-Haq annexed the boy’s U-12 singles title beating his younger brother Gibran-ul-Haq in straight sets 4-2 4-2 at Independence Day Junior tennis championships 2003 on Tuesday.

Second seed Tabish Raza grabed the boy’s U-14 singles title when he shocked 3rd seed Hamza Shahid in the final 4-2.

In the boy’s U-18 doubles final Noman-ul-Haq and Raja Taimoor outplayed Hamza Shahid and Tabish Raza 6-4.

Sarah Mahboob and Anoosha Aslam won their matches against Muneezeh Shahid and Zeinab Khan in the U-18 girls singles round robin competition.

Boy’s U-14 singles final: Tabish Raza beat Hamza Shahid 4-2 4-2

Boy’s U-12 singles final: Sadan-ul-Haq beat Gibran-ul-Haq 4-2 4-2
