KARACHI: Registration date extended

KARACHI, Aug 17: The controller of examinations, University of Karachi, has extended the date for registration and improvement of division for external students.

The students can now deposit their registration forms with original fee of Rs1,200, from Aug 18 to 27, while with a late fee of Rs800 (total Rs2,000), from Aug 29 to Sep 6, and along with late fee of Rs900 (total Rs. 2100/) thereafter.

Registration forms can be obtained from the counters of the National Bank of Pakistan and United Bank, at the Silver Jubilee Gate, on payment of Rs25.

He has also notified that examination forms for Annual Examinations 2003, for BCom, BA, BOL, BSc, improvement of division, can be submitted without late fee from Aug 18 to Sep 15.

Fee schedule: Part-I and Part-II - Rs1,150 each, for both at once - Rs2,250, with late fee of Rs100 from Sep 16 to 22, while, with late fee of Rs200, from Sep 23 to 29, and with late fee of Rs300, from Sep 30 to Oct 16.

Fee for change of Subject is Rs400, in addition to original fee, which can be deposited upto Oct 6, 2003.

Examination forms can be obtained from the counters of NBP and UBL, at the Silver Jubilee Gate on payment of Rs25.

Checking of examination forms and receipt of prescribed fee will be carried out at examination counter (for external students), set up at Silver Jubilee Gate No 1.—PPI
