No-trust move passed

HYDERABAD, Aug 9: A no-confidence motion has been passed against the Nazim, Union Council-9 of Latifabad Taluka, Irshad Kaimkhani, with a majority vote on Saturday.

In a session of 20 members, 16 voted against the Nazim.

The motion was tabled by the general councillor, Liaquat Malik, and endorsed by the labour councillor, Masooduz Zaman.

Naib Nazim Hussain Abbas chaired the meeting in the presence of the secretary of the union council, Mohammad Azam.

Meanwhile, a no-confidence motion was tabled against Naib Nazim Shahabuddin Munshi in Union Council-9, Hyderabad city, on Saturday.

The resolution was tabled by Faisal Farooq, Syed Nayyab Ali Chaman and others who said that the Naib Nazim failed to fulfil his responsibilities.
