QUETTA, Aug 9: The Kohlu police have registered a case has been registered against Mir Mahabat Khan Marri, a former provincial minister, and five others on charges of attacking various government installations, including posts of the Frontier Corps, in the Kohlu township area.

Confirming the registration of the case, a senior police officer in Kohlu said that the FIR had been lodged by an FC official. No arrest was reported till the filing of this report.

Others, who were nominated in the FIR, include Mir Changez Khan, Liaquat Ali, Roozi Khan, Baloch Khan and Pir Bukhsh.

In another development, law enforcement agencies arrested four persons on charges of firing rockets on gas pipelines and other installations in the Sui area.—Staff Correspondent
