Police said the body of Faisal Abrar, with a bullet mark on his head, was found at his house in sector 15-A/1 of Buffer Zone in Sir Syed Town police limits. Police also found a pistol beside his body, which indicated that he might have committed suicide.

However, the police said that it could be a murder, as at the very initial stage it was premature to declare it a suicide case. Police have been questioning his relatives, while they would also interrogate his friends and acquaintances to ascertain the causes that led to his unnatural death.

After conducting post-mortem examination at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, the body was handed over to his family for burial.
