Shoaib to join team in Karachi

LAHORE, Aug 8: Controversial paceman Shoaib Akhtar and all-rounder Shoaib Malik will join the selected Pakistan team in Karachi on Aug 17 to face Bangladesh in the first Test starting from Aug 21.

Currently both the players are playing country cricket in England for Durham and Gloucestershire.

Shoaib has been recalled for the series after another pacer Muhammad Sami become unfit for the first two Tests of the series.

The spokesman said that the Australian bowling coach Daryl Foster would reach at Lahore on Saturday and would starts his three-day assignment at the National Cricket Academy from Sunday.
