TOBA TEK SINGH, Aug 3: Dacoits killed a widow and injured her daughter in the Race Park locality here on Sunday morning.
Two dacoits forced their entry into the house of Hanifan Bibi and asked her to hand over the keys. When she put up resistance, the intruders opened fire killing Hanifan on the spot and injuring her daughter, Sumera. The injured was admitted to the DHQ Hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, a petty dispute claimed the life of a servant in Chak 336-GB, Saraba, Rajana.
Ramzan opened fire on Punnoo following an exchange of harsh words. Punnoo sustained critical injuries and died instantly.
