LANDI KOTAL, Aug 3: Director Education Fata has allocated additional 60 seats for Government Degree College, Kohi, in Bara Khyber Agency.

The decision was made during a meeting between MNA from Bara Maulana Khalil ur Rehman and director education Fata at the Fata directorate. The MNA informed education director that a number of deserving students could not enrol themselves in Kohi college due to shortage of seats.

The director has also announced two years relaxation in age limit for new students to allow maximum number of students to get admission in the college. The education director also provided equipments for the science laboratory of Kohi degree college.

COACH SERVICE: The Bara political administration has inaugurated flying coach-pick up service to Shin Qamar in the remote Tirah valley after the completion of Bara-Shin Qamar road on Sunday.

The administration had also established a number of Khasadar check posts between Kohi chowk and Dowa Thoy to ensure safety of the newly opened road. With the start of coach service, commuters will reach Shin Qamar in less than four hours. Residents of the area faced great hardships before the opening of Bara-Shin Qamar road.

TWO KILLED: Two real cousins were killed at Shin Pokh village of Loe Shalman on Friday night. Gulzada and Murad were asleep along with four other relatives at their hujra when attacked by unidentified gunmen.

The two killed on the spot. Wedding of one of the diseased, Murad was planned next month. Political authorities have registered case against the unidentified killers.
