Faizi named umpire for Holland
LAHORE, Aug 2: International Grade I hockey umpire, Faiz Ahmad Faizi, will act as an umpire in the elite six-nation Champions Trophy hockey tournament being played on Holland from Aug 16.
Faizi’s appointment in the tournament penal of umpires has been made by the International Hockey Federation.
Faizi from Peshawar is the second most experienced umpire after Rashid Butt who is also international grade-I.
Faizi has far officiated in 45 matches including Asian Games and Champions Trophy. —PPI
