TOBA TEK SINGH, July 30: Two brothers on Wednesday murdered their father over a minor issue in Gojra.
Nazir Ahmed admonished their sons Rashid and Majid Ali, but they did not pocket their insult and injured his father seriously with sharp-edged knives. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died.
Nawan Lahore police have arrested both the accused.
KILLED: A six-year-old boy was knocked down and killed on Wednesday by a speeding motorcycle near Janiwala.
Nabil Ahmad was returning his house when the incident occurred. He died on the spot.
Meanwhile, a woman was killed on Tuesday night as to the result of snake bite in nearby Chak 328-GB.
Anwari Bibi was coming back from her farmland when she was bitten by the snake. She died on the spot.
