KARACHI, July 28: Five containers vessels carrying imported goods are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Three others, including Nur al-Jubail, Gao He and Kota Indah whose arrivals were delayed are also coming to unload and load containers.

Three ships, Izumo, Med Keelung to unload and load containers, Nova Eliza to offload nitro phosphate and Sorena to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of two.

Two ships, Med Keeling and Lombardia departed on Monday, while Izumo, Sorena and Kwang Tung are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 46,808 tons comprising 2,840 tons of export cargo and 43,968 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Orient Stride, Kota Waruna, Oxford, Sima Bahar and Global Progress, with containers.
