KARACHI: Building collapses in Lyari

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, July 25: The double-storey building of a house in the Shah Beg Lane area of Lyari Town collapsed on Friday morning.

Luckily, the inmates of the house were not present, when the incident took place. However, 11-year-old Shakeela received minor injuries.

The small building was situated in a narrow lane of Shah Beg Lane and it was occupied by two families. The structure of the building was old and not durable, as cracks had already appeared on its walls.

The house owner, Ghulam Ali, told Dawn that the house was built five years ago. He said that he was at workplace, when he was informed about the incident.
