KARACHI: Surveillance cameras installed

KARACHI, July 24: A total of 15 surveillance cameras have been installed by traffic police at important roundabouts and crossings in Karachi to monitor smooth flow of traffic and security situation from the control room.

This was informed by DIG Traffic Police Mohammed Yamin Khan on Thursday. He further informed that more such cameras would be installed in near future.

He said funds to acquire these cameras were provided by the provincial government out of the money realized from the collection of traffic rules violation fines during the last two years under ticketing system.—PPI
