Published July 24, 2003

LAHORE, July 23: The JUP (Nifaz-i-Shariat) has criticized JUI-F president Maulana Fazlur Rahman for ‘violating’ teachings of the Quran and Sunnat by suggesting a round-table conference for unification of India and Pakistan.

Speaking at a press conference here on Wednesday, JUP president Engineer Salimulllah Khan said the Maulana had also negated the two-nation theory and the Pakistan Movement by presenting the proposal and demanded the government should not allow him return from India. — Staff Reporter
