Sukkur BISE announces results

SUKKUR, July 23: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Sukkur, on Tuesday announced the results of intermediate pre-medical and pre-engineering group annual examinations 2003.

In the pre-medical group for boys, Rameez Hussain, son of Mir Hassan, seat No45438, secured 1st position by obtaining 925 marks. Abu Bakar, son of Sharaf Ali Phulpoto, seat No45424, secured 2nd position by obtaining 922 marks. Ali Gohar, son of Mohammad Alim Lodro, seat No45422, secured 3rd position by obtaining 915 marks. All belonged to the Public School, Sukkur.

In the pre-medical group for girls, Poonam, daughter of Indir Mal, seat No44536, of the Iqra Public Higher Secondary School, Gambat, secured 1st position by obtaining 955 marks. Qurutul Ain, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmed Shaikh, seat No43092, of the Government College for Women, Khairpur, secured 2nd position by obtaining 923 marks. Sanam, daughter of Haji Nizamuddin Memon, seat No43132, of the Government College for Women, Khairpur, secured 3rd position by obtaining 907 marks.

In the pre-engineering group for boys, Akash Ahmed, son of Ghulam Rasool Soomro, seat No50894, of the Public School Sukkur, secured first position by obtaining 923 marks. Nazim Ahmed Khan, son of Nisar Ahmed Khan Qaimkhani, seat No51199, of the Government Degree College, Pano Aqil, secured second position by obtaining 884 marks. Hamadullah, son of Mohammad Ahmed Memon, seat No49547, of the Mazhar Muslim Model Higher Secondary School, Ranipur, secured third position by obtaining 882 marks.

In the pre-engineering group for girls, Rabia Shaikh, daughter of Nizamuddin Shaikh, seat No51233, of the Government Degree College, Pano Aqil, secured first position by obtaining 862 marks. Aisha Kanwal Khan, daughter of Mohammad Zaman Khan, seat No51695, of the Engro Chemical Higher Secondary School, Daharki, secured second position by obtaining 841 marks. Bushra Zaheer, daughter of Zaheeruddin Memon, seat No50926, of the Public School, Sukkur, secured third position by obtaining 834 marks.

ACCIDENT: Two people were killed and two others were injured in an accident on the National Highway near Pano Aqil on Wednesday.

Police constable Sahib Dino and Mohammad Hanif were killed and two unidentified persons were injured after they were run over by a bus.
