US diplomat calls on CM

KARACHI, July 23: The American Consul-General in Karachi Douglas C. Rohn called on the Sindh Chief Minister Sardar Ali Mohammad Khan Mahar at the Chief Minister House here and discussed matters of mutual interests, says a statement on Wednesday.

It said that the chief minister informed the US consul- general of the priorities of the government of Sindh.

He said because of the peaceful conditions in the province and a stable political system, there have been offers for investment from many countries and soon the development projects would be implemented. These projects, he said, would create job opportunities for the people.

The US CG assured the chief minister of the cooperation of his government.—APP
