Tauqir for settlement

RAWALPINDI, July 22: Lt. Gen Tauqir Zia, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday told officials of the Islamabad and Rawalpindi Cricket Associations to settle their differences.

In a meeting in Rawalpindi Tauqir, fed up of the two associations pointing fingers at each other time and again, directed them to address their grievences to regional heads Ashraf Qureshi and Abrar Rizvi in future.

He urged them to learn to live cordially for the betterment of the game and avoid accusing each other over petty matters.

The meeting was attended by Islamabad president Ishaq Bhatti, secretary Irfan Manzoor and Abrar Rizvi. Rawalpindi officials included Masood Anwar, Sabih Azhar and Ashraf Qureshi.
