KARACHI, July 22: Admissions to first year (class-XI) at 110 intermediate colleges and 32 higher secondary schools in the city, under the Centralised Admission Policy (CAP), will commence from July 28, and the process will continue till Aug 7.

According to an official of the Centralised Admission Committee (CAC), it will advertise start of admissions at city colleges and higher secondary schools on July 25, whereas a meeting of principals and heads of higher secondary schools, with the committee, will be held very next day to brief them about the admissions process.

“Admission forms will be made available from July 28 from 34 branches of the Habib Bank Limited,” he said and added that the committee had done its best to remove flaws from the admission procedure.

He maintained that a row over publishing of admission forms caused delay in announcement regarding admissions. —PPI
