MINGORA, July 21: Three of a family were killed while two others received bullet injuries on Monday in Kooz Jabban village near Dargai in the Malakand Agency.

Five persons were reported to have entered the house of one Sher Alam, opening indiscriminate firing at the occupants resulting in the death of three persons, including wife of Wakil Khan, his daughter Shaista and son Muslim while Wakil Khan and one his daughters, Rubina, received serious injuries.

The injured were taken to civil hospital Dargai but they were later shifted to Peshawar for treatment.

Meanwhile, officials of Dargai Levies have arrested Baz Meer and his two sons and registered a case against them while search for the arrest of their accomplices is in progress.

Reason of the murder is said to be old enmity.—APP
