Four banks’ profit rates

KARACHI, July 21: Bank Alfalah Limited has declared following rates of profit on various types of PLS deposits for the half year ended 30, 2003, says a press release.

PLS Saving Account: On balance up to Rs24,999, 2.00%; on Rs25,000 and above, 2.00%.

Notice Deposits: 7-29 days, 2.00%; 30 days & above, 2.00%.

Term Deposits: One month, 2.00%; three months, 2.25%; six months, 2.50%; one year, 2.75%; two years, 6.00%; three years, 6.50%; four years, 7.00%; five years 7.50%.

Royal Profit:

Royal Profit return for financial institutions, NBFIs, and DFIs 1.75% Monthly Income Account: One year, 7.80%; two years, 8.04%; three years, 8.76%.

Royal Patriot: From Rs25,000-Rs999,999, one month, 2.00%; three months, 2.25%; six months, 2.50%; one year, 2.75%; two years, 5.50%. From Rs1,000,000-Rs4,999,999, one month, 2.10%; three months, 2.35%; six months, 2.60%; one year, 2.85%; two years 5.85%. Rs5,000,000 & above, one month, 2.20%; three months, 2.45%; six months, 2.70%; one year, 2.95%; two years 5.95%.

Anmol Deposit: Three months, 4.60%; six months, 4.93%; one year, 5.26%; one and half years, 5.42%; two years, 5.75%; two and half years, 5.92%; three years, 6.08%; three and half years, 6.24%; four years, 6.57%; four and half years, 6.74%; five years, 6.90%; five and half years, 7.07%; six years, 7.23%; six and half years, 7.56%; seven years, 8.00%.

Talimi Certificate (as per scheme): 5.00 per cent p.a.; Besh Baha Certificates (as per scheme): 5.00 per cent p.a.; Sanati Sarmaya Certificate (as per scheme): 6 months, 5.00 per cent p.a.; 3 years 5.00 per cent p.a.

IDBP Mahana Munafa Certificates: 1 year and above but not exceeding 7 years, 7.00 per cent p.a. IDBP deposit certificates: Not exceeding 5 years, 5.00 per cent p.a.
