Controversial posters banned in Pindi Tehsil

By Our Staff Reporter

RAWALPINDI, July 18: The Tehsil Municipal Administration has banned wall-chalking or pasting of controversial posters in its jurisdiction.

The civic body has directed the police and the Rescue 15 to take action against those, who carry out wall-chalking at night time. Cases would be registered against those, who would found involved in violating the ban.

The Tehsil Nazim, taking serious notice of wall-chalking, fanning sectarianism, said such things should not be allowed at any cost.

The ban, however, will not affect the displaying of positive posters or advertisements.
