MIRPURKHAS, July 15: The district Nazim, Mirpurkhas, Pir Shafqat Hussain Shah Jilani, on Monday ordered an inquiry into the complaint of the Park Bachao Committee, Gulshan-e-Rehmania Colony, against Prof Sadiq Hussain Bhatti, district officer colleges, Mirpurkhas.

Choudhry Basheer Ahmed, chairman of the committee, had filed a complaint before the district Nazim and the Anti-Corruption Establishment, Mirpurkhas, stating therein that the district officer colleges had occupied an amenity plot of the Fatima Jinnah Park of Gulshan-e-Rehmania Colony on the basis of fake documents.

He said several complaints had been made to the Taluka Municipal Administration.

The district Nazim asked the DCO to conduct an inquiry and submit a report to him soon regarding it so that action could be taken.

POOR SANITARY: The president, Sindh Agriculture Growers Development Association, Mirpurkhas, Rais Ahmed Khan, has expressed grave concern over the poor sanitary conditions in the city.

In a press statement issued on Monday, he said that he had visited various areas of the city and villages in the rural areas where poor sanitary conditions prevailed and standing crops had been damaged.

He urged the Sindh government to start relief work in the rain-affected areas of the district.
