KARACHI: Women’s role highlighted

KARACHI, July 15: Nazim Karachi Naimatullah Khan has asked the women to play their role for bringing an Islamic revolution.

Speaking as chief guest at the inauguration of a 40- day certificate course of Tajdid-ul-Quran and Fahm-ul-Quran at the Quran and Sunnah Academy at Markaz Al-Islami here on Tuesday, the Nazim said that the people of Karachi have an ideological thinking and, therefore, a headway is being made towards an Islamic city and society in Karachi.

“The establishment of Quran and Sunnah Academy, a TV channel, and a model mosque are projects towards this direction,” he said. However, the social change should come from the people, he said, adding “the Muslims should understand that our success will not be possible without practising Quran and Sunnah.”

When a change will come in from inside, the whole society will transform.

Nazim Karachi said that a vicious propaganda had been launched against Islam that it does not contain the rights for women. But, the fact is that our religion has given women the highest respect, dignity and rights.

“Revolution is knocking at the door. The women should come forward, play their role and work for the security of Pakistan”.

Naimatullah Khan said that Pakistan has the ability to lead the Muslim world and for this reason, the enemies of Islam have made it their target.

He said the City Government had initiated a 40-day course for women so that they could know that as Muslims what are the requirements of Quran and Sunnah. Thereafter, these women would train their children according to Islamic teachings.

This course will be conducted daily for two hours between 4pm to 6pm. Starting from July 17, the course will continue till Aug 20.
