Premier sees reconciliation on all issues


ISLAMABAD, July 14: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali said on Monday consultations with all shades of political opinion have been launched for effecting a national reconciliation and consensus on vital issues.

He was talking to National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain, who called on him at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

Mr Jamali said he had received a good response from the parties and they realized that the democratic system was at stake.

He said the government would continue its efforts to resolve all issues through dialogue. “We have to come up to people’s expectations, who want the system to flourish and work smoothly for solving their problems,” he observed.

The NA speaker expressed his resolve of making all out efforts to run the National Assembly in an impartial manner.

#PML-Q TEAM:# A four-member delegation of the central working committee of the Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-i-Azam) called on Mr Jamali at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat and discussed various matters of the party and development activities in their respective areas.

Syed Nasibullah Gardezi led the delegation which included Justice Mohammad Azam Khan (retired), Sardar Imran Abbasi and Advocate Sardar Abdul Razaq Khan.

During the talks, the prime minister said the government held the lawyers community in high esteem and it would continue to accord priority to solving their problems.—APP
