KARACHI, July 14: Five ships carrying DAP fertilizer, containers and high speed diesel are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Asian Pullux, to unload and load containers, Love Song to offload and load general cargo, Marine Trader, to unload coal and Sea Ford to offload soyabean oil.

Three ships, Kota Teraju, Med Tai Chung and Sorena departed on Monday, while Sea Ford, Mar Challenger, Asian Pollux, Kota Wajba, Love Song and Ping Jiang are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 61,726 tons comprising 8,054 tons of export cargo and 53,672 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Amber-1, Oriental Bright and Bunga Mastiga, with containers, Pytheas, with 28,258 tons of fertilizer and Blue River, with 57,500 tons of high speed diesel.
