Best arrested and released
LONDON, July 13: Former Manchester United and Northern Ireland winger George Best was arrested on Saturday after what media reports said was an incident at a Surrey hotel.
Best, 57, was detained along with a 31-year-old man at the Chequers Hotel in Walton on the Hill.
Police said both men were arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to Reigate police station but were released without charge.—Reuters
