TOBA TEK SINGH, July 13: An influential politician of Gojra was arrested on Sunday for injuring an SDO of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco).
A case was registered against Chaudhry Ghulam Asghar Goraya, Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa Warraich, manager of the transport company owned by MNA Chaudhry Amjad Ali Warraich, and others for attacking and torturing SDO Qazi Saifullah.
Ghulam Mustafa Warraich was arrested a week ago.
An anti-terrorism court of Faisalabad had remanded Asghar Goraya in the custody of police till July 15. The court will hear the bail application of Mustafa Warraich on Monday.
