‘S. Arabia keen to invest in Pakistan’


ISLAMABAD, July 13: Prince Faisal Abdullah Al Faisal Al Saud of Saudi Arabia said on Sunday that Saudi businessmen would explore opportunities for investment in Pakistan.

Talking after his arrival here to the minister of state for minorities, culture, sports, tourism and youth, Rais Munir Ahmed, he said the Saudi government and a number of investors are interested in investing in Pakistan.

He discussed the Gwadar port project and Pakistan’s air links with Gulf countries with the minister.

The minister said Pakistan had become an ideal place for investors and tourists because of the stable policies of the government.

He said relations between the countries would be strengthened with the prince’s visit.

He said tourism had taken an important place in government policies.

Prince Saud showed interest in the natural beauty of Pakistan and tourist resorts in the Northern Areas.—APP
