GUJRANWALA, July 12: The Pakistan Medical Association and the DHQ Hospital’s paramedical staff have asked the police and district administration to take action against NGO members within a week otherwise they would stop the gynae operation theatre.

This was stated by participants at a meeting held here on Saturday under the presidentship of PMA president Dr Ishtiaq Safdar Tarar.

They alleged that NGO members wanted to grab the gynae ward for setting up a dialysis machine for their own interest and they had demolished the gynae wall for this purpose some two weeks back.

They pledged that they would not allow any NGO to interfere in their affairs while the police and district administration should take stern action against those who took the law in their hands.
