2 children injured in rocket attack

By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, July 11: Two children were injured in a rocket attack on Kohlu township on Friday.

“Unknown outlaws fired 10 rockets with brief intervals at Kohlu on Friday morning,” a local administration official confirmed over telephone.

A rocket exploded near a schoolteacher’s house, injuring two children, who were taken to a hospital, he said.

The rockets were fired from the Jandran mountain range.

The other rockets exploded in the open area and caused no loss.

Frontier Corps personnel were dispatched to the Jandran area to apprehend the assailants but they escaped.
