KARACHI, July 10: Three vessels carrying soyabean oil, rock phosphate and crude oil are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest owing to delayed arrivals of foreign flag vessels. As a result, three ships, Hyundai Highway, Global Prosperity to unload and load containers and Sargodha to off-load general cargo were berthed after the departure of five.

The departing ships were led by Alva Maersk, LT. Grand, APL Venezuela, Fivos and Golvi, while Global Prosperity, Orient Stride, Hyundai Highway, An angle Eagle, Bow Sky, Dubai and Sinr Bangka are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where 89,879 tons cargo comprising 14,982 tons of export and 74,897 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Makran, with 16,500 tons of rock phosphate, Sea Ford, with 7,000 tons of soyabean oil and Sorena, with 68,000 tons of crude oil.
