Drawback allowed

ISLAMABAD, July 10: The Central Board of Revenue has allowed exporters to claim duty drawback on export of plaster of Paris bandages.

The facility would be available to exporters from July 2, 2003, said a customs export notification issued on Thursday.

The rate of duty drawback would be 4.97 per cent of the fob value on plaster of Paris bandages and its raw materials — calcium sulphate, methylene chloride, methocel 311, methocel E15, luviskol K90 (polyvinyl pyrrolidone), mowilith 60, plournic (propylene oxide), citric acid anhydrous, leno gauze (bleach cloth).
