Villager killed

KHAIRPUR, July 9: A man, Nabi Bukhsh Narejo alias Naban Khan, 50, was shot dead by assailants in the Wahiyal Narejo village on Wednesday.

Some 15 armed men stormed the village and opened fire as result Nabi Bukhsh was injured and died on his way to a hospital.

The incident is said to be in retaliation for the murder of Ashiq Hussain Jagirani who was killed near the Rapri Jagirani village on Tuesday.

With the two murders, the death toll of the Narejo-Jagirani dispute has risen to 14.
