ISLAMABAD, July 9: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has imposed a penalty of censure on a superintendent on charges of inefficiency and misconduct.

According to the CBR notification issued on Wednesday, the member administration imposed the penalty on the superintendent, Abdus Salam of collectorate of customs, Sambrial, following a report of the inquiry wing of the CBR.

The inquiry officer submitted a report to the CBR with the findings of the charges.

The superintendent has the right of appeal to the appellate authority within a period of 15 days from the date of communication of this notification under rule 9 of removal from service (Special powers) ordinance, 2000.
