KARACHI: Shahrah-i-Orangi


KARACHI, July 9: The construction work on Shahrah Orangi, abandoned since 1996, will resume in August for which funds have been earmarked in the current budget.

This was stated by Nazim Naimatullah Khan while speaking at the inauguration ceremony of an electricity supply project in Sector 15-C and 15-D in union council 9 of Orangi Town.

Under this project at least 1,000 houses of the area have been provided with electricity. It has cost the city government Rs1.2 million. — PPI
