KABUL, July 5: Afghanistan will send a high-level delegation to its eastern border on Sunday to investigate alleged border violations by Pakistani soldiers, the government said in a statement on Saturday.

“The transitional government of Afghanistan will tomorrow send a high-ranking government delegation to the eastern areas to assess probable violation (of the border) by Pakistani troops and report to the government,” President Hamid Karzai’s press office said.—AFP
