HYDERABAD, July 5: The Imamia Students’ Organization, Hyderabad division, took out a procession from Qadamgah-i-Maula Ali to the Hyderabad Press Club here on Saturday to condemn the wanton massacre of innocent people in Quetta on Friday.

Speaking at the rally, the divisional president of the organization, Mehdi Abbas, accused the government of negligence, saying that it had failed to take precautionary measures following the massacre of the police cadets in the Balochistan capital less than a month ago.

The rally adopted a resolution demanding that the federal government should dismiss the senior government functionaries of Balochistan, ensure arrest of those behind the terrorist act and award an exemplary punishment to them.

Meanwhile, the Anjuman Imamia Sindh at an emergency meeting, held at Qadamgah-i-Maula Ali, condemned the Quetta carnage.

On the occasion, Fateha Khawani was also offered for the departed souls.
