Trainees to be accommodated, says SSGC

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, July 5: The management of the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has clarified that the federal government has considered the financial implications arising out of the Supreme Court judgment, reinstating over 800 employees, and will accommodate as many of the former trainees, subject to meeting its actual manpower requirements.

In response to a news item, headlined “Sui gas workers threaten self-immolation”, the company said that the federal government had considered the financial implication arising out of the judgment and accordingly decided to file a review petition with the Supreme Court.
