Rs100m grant for N. Areas
GILGIT, July 4: The federal government has approved a Rs100 million additional grant for the Northern Areas local bodies.
Northern Areas Chief Secretary Sheikh Ghazanfar Hussain said this grant would be spent on the development projects being undertaken by union and district councils of the region.
He said this grant was Rs60 million in the previous fiscal year, but this time the government had enhanced it.
