ISLAMABAD, July 4: Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) Vice-president and Islami Tehrik Pakistan (ITP) chief Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, MMA deputy parliamentary leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed and Punjab ITP President Allama Abdul Jalil Naqvi have flayed the carnage in Asna Ashari Hazara Imambargah, Quetta, in which 31 people were reported killed and 82 others injured.

Allama Sajid Naqvi hold responsible for the killings the officials who he said to hide their failure had concealed previous reports of earlier acts of terrorism in Balochistan.

He alleged that the acts of organized killings were in the knowledge of state institutions. They wanted this game to be continued and hence did not take any pre-emptive measures, he added.

Such serious incidents, he said, were happening in the province of Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan, but Mr Jamali could not dare order the arrest of the criminals.

He expressed his resentment that police were not deployed at the Imambargah despite a number of acts of terrorism.
